In a second big win for the week, we submitted our iOS app for review this week. Apple been Apple rejected it the first time.
It’s not surprising. Our platform is subscription based and we don’t offer subs in-app. Fortunately we managed to get around this using an exception.
Section 3.1.3(c) means if billing is handled outside of that person, you can try and get away with an exception. Our argument was the team members using this app don’t have any knowledge of billing. It’s managed completely outside of them and even the web app they have access to.
Of course, make sure you don’t include any links to register or view the main sales site, either in-app or in app descriptions.
Screw Apple. Also screw React Native & Expo.
