Wild Target is one of those oddball British comedies that just seems to fly under the radar. It was only showing at one local cinema and it’s more through a lack of options that I managed to watch it last Sunday. And am I glad I did. It’s a brilliant comedy with some outstanding acting.

Bill Nighy plays a professional assassin, hired to kill a woman with less than honest intentions. Throw in some screwball characters (I never thought Ron Weasley would be able to throw off his Hogwart’s role) and you have an excellent caper.

The script is never less than perfect, the characters are totally unique and overall the movie leaves one with a big smile plastered across their face. Wild Target is definitely worth seeing.
